Koby Allen is a business valuation professional specializing in employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs), estate and gift tax planning, and complex advisory engagements. He works closely with business owners, attorneys, trustees, and management teams to analyze valuation and ownership issues in high-stakes planning and transactional settings.



Koby’s experience includes valuations prepared for ESOP compliance, estate and gift tax matters, corporate planning, business combinations, and litigation support. His background also includes financial reporting, purchase price allocation, and complex securities engagements, providing a strong technical foundation and informed professional judgment. He is known for translating complex financial data into clear analysis to support decision making.

Prior to joining C5 Business Advisors, Koby was with Mercer Capital, where he served clients on a wide range of valuation and advisory matters with an emphasis on RIAs and healthcare.

Koby is based in Memphis, Tennessee. Outside of work, he enjoys food and wine, reading, and spending time with his family and their sheep and chickens.
